A total of 204 players were bought by 10 teams in IPL Mega Auction 2022. All the teams included at least 18 and maximum 25 players in their team. Ishan Kishan was the most expensive in this auction who was bought by Mumbai Indians for Rs 15.25 crores.
 
The mega auction of IPL is over. A total of 204 players were sold in this event, which lasted for two days at Hotel ITC Gardenia in Bangalore. Of these, 137 were Indian and 67 foreign players. All the 10 franchises of IPL entered the auction with 561 crores. Out of this, a total of Rs 549.70 crore was looted by the franchisees. A total of 108 players got more than 1 crore price. These include 11 players who got more than 10 crores.
 
The 10 IPL franchises spent ₹551.7 crore to buy a total of 204 players in the IPL Mega Auction 2022 in Bengaluru. 11 players were sold for at least ₹10 crores while 13 players were bought for between ₹8 crores and ₹9.25 crores. ₹432 crore was spent to buy 169 players in IPL Mega Auction 2018.

The auction of IPL 2022 started in Bangalore from Saturday. 600 players from 15 countries are participating in the 2-day auction. Talking about the players sold then, wicket-keeper batsman Ishan Kishan has been the most expensive. He was bought by Mumbai Indians for a record Rs 15.25 crore.
