The company says that it will prove to be very beneficial for people who have difficulty in finding goods, this feature will improve their shopping experience. Last year, Amazon also added voice search option to its Android app.

According to Flipkart, this feature will prove to be very helpful for new internet users in India. With this, users will be able to search the exact product on time. Flipkart has quoted a research claim that online typing is much faster than a voice search feature by typing in English and searching for a product online. At the same time, voice search is 5 times faster than typing in Hindi.
Voice search option can be used on Flipkart mobile app or official site. It will be available as a microphone icon. When you click on the search option, the voice search option will appear. Using this feature, 150 million products in 80 categories can be searched.
